You're kidding your self at best if you really believe that. The people making the fake knives know full well what they are getting wrong or can't manage. They just don't care about the little points that CRK do, to them good enough is good enough. They must already have a genuine knife in hand to work off so how would they not know ? I think some people really have to open their eyes to the real world and how production of these things works.

On the contrary, they sell to the unknowing, aided by those who tell them how to build better fakes.
