Doing something a bit different this time. I have two sword commissions. A 36" sword the client is calling a Batarde (its french for a bad word) and an M1902 damascus Sabre. So instead a full build video, I am doing a series of 5-6 min videos as I build these two swords.

Current progress so far. Let me know if you like this format, or if you prefer one longer video at the end. I will still do a full build video but the 5 min day videos show a lot more detail.

Really enjoying these videos and this format is perfect for me personally. I'm really interested in the details in the process, but long-form videos are tough, the long ones wind up to be a montage that omits a lot, and the super-long ones are just too much for me to watch in a sitting. These are perfect for days i'm working out in my own shop or around our place, i'll take breaks to have a soda and a smoke and fire up one of these the last couple days and now i'm kinda hooked, looking forward to the next ones! Nice work!

Thanks. very valuable feedback. I know everyone like different things, but its nice to hear this format is appreciated.

Another good video - you make that fuller look so easy. I've never done a fuller, but your method looks like something I might could do. Thanks

Thanks, its hard to see in the video, but at the start of the fuller, I have the speed turned WAY down so that is more just scratching than removing much material. As the groove gets deeper, it is easier to keep the wheel in the groove.
