Making a knife and have a question

@ndoghouse, thanks for the offer on the wood. I already have the Holly, Cocobolo, and Purpleheart and I really wanted at least one with black handles so I am still going to order Ebony.

lol and the place that is cutting the blanks for me has also already offered to buy one when I am done with them. It looks like it won't be very hard to sell of the remaining karambits.
 
How big a piece of ebony do you need? I don't have much left but maybe enough for one of these.
 
One scale is 1.5x4.4x0.4" need 2 per knife and I am planning on making 2 of them with black handles. Don't worry about the ebony I will just look around tomorrow for a high quality blank.
