It's saturday and I'm looking for a project. Here's a potential build inspired by the esee 6 but smaller, no finger choil, and a bowie. I'm not sure I like the look of the handle. Is there anything you more experienced makers and enthusiasts see that I could improve for looks or function? I figure it never hurts to get a second or tenth opinion. 20220806_103226.jpg

This is a cool build to watch. :)

I actually agree with J. Doyle. When I looked at your original post today, I thought it looked really good! Just keep the same back shape but soften the curve. Not so steep toward the inner handle.
I love the original style of handle.

Also, maybe to make it look not so “folder-ish” you could mess around with the shape of the front of the scales where they terminate. Maybe a more dramatic arc?

I just realized that you have drilled holes all through the handle already, so maybe these ideas are moot.

Anyways, it’s a good looking knife. Excited to see the outcome. 😎

Well, I'm calling it done for now. Couple things that didn't work out the way I wanted them to, but I'll spare ya. I think she looks pretty good and feels very nice. It should perform well. Maybe I'll put a better pic up tomorrow.

In my opinion, it looks way better than your drawings. Good job!!!!
I didn't read all the pages.
What I was thinking for changing (from your original drawing) was to make the "clip" go all the way back, Straight. to near the handle. I don't like clip points.
I think it would look better.

But Yours now looks So Good that I'd play with it a bit before I'd want to change it. Again.... Really Nice.
