Making an Axe Handle

Brilliant video. One of the best I have seen in ages. Makes me want to scour yard sales for axe heads looking for new homes.

What is the consensus on metal vs. wood wedges up top? I have used both in the past, and they both seem to work.

What a truly enviable skill to have! Mucho thanks for sharing, the vids too (although I am partial to the old school one. See him using the broken glass? :))!

Sweet video. Great job. I love re-handling axes, but have yet to make one from scratch. Now I'll have to give it a try:thumbup:
 
Awsome Video. I sell alot of vintage axes and such and it was nice to see someone make a hande with their own two hands and not with a machine. You did a great job. Very Enjoyable.
