Making Bread Bow Knife

Would like to make Wooden Bow type Bread Knives . Would Band Saw blades do the trick for the blade?
 
I make these knives and they work well and sell well.
I use my worn out portaband blades,I can make 3 knife blades from one portaband blade.
I grind the teeth off and then serrate the edge using a 1/4" wheel. The blade is 45 Rc so it is plenty hard enough to cut bread and holds up well. The thin blade with the huge serrations works very well on bread loaves,rolls,bagels,even tomatoes!
So,GO FOR IT!
