Making knife, which steel?

I use M4 HSS tool steel for my blades, I mostly make survival hatchets and small solid piece multi tools though. I have a deal with the physics department of a local college, the professor there does any special heat treats I need and using a band saw or carbide sharpeners. Some of my future pieces have drastic curves and intricate designs so I will have to use a water cutter for those. The survival axe I am working on now is for a B.O.B and rather small, 7'' long x 3'' wide at the top of the head and 3/8'' thick. Anyone interested in my work feel free to email me, I am open to modifying my designs or even custom orders.

CPM-3V is harder to come by. I've found only one spot so far:

Paul Bos will heat-treat it.

You can also get it straight from Crucible. I hear you need to call Bruce DiVita, at 1-800-365-1168. I think there's a minimum length and/or amount you need to get, but it'll work if you want to make a few knives from it.
