Looks like you used about 40 pieces of fabric, is that right? How thick is it when completed (1/2")? thanks, I might try this myself.

I think I ended up using 32 or so. It was about 1" thick when I started (measuring without compressing the fabric down). I think it ended up around 3/4" of an inch at the end, but I will double check it tonight.
