Making Mosaic Pins?

I like mosaic pins, not exclusively but as an addition or replacement instead of pins or rivets. Partly because I like to do my own thing and partly to save money I want to make my own pins. U-tube has videos so the how to is not a problem but I am having trouble finding parts and pieces. I found good prices on 1/4" tubing but I'd like some square tubing that would fit in the 1/4" and some 1/32"rod which I can't find. I've spent several hours on here looking at hobby and metal suppliers with no luck. I'd appreciate any suggestions or advice. I think some of it should be contrasting colors; maybe nickel silver. stainless, or aluminum.

I think its called hobby world here in Ohio, it's a chain store. Either way they sale things like RC cars and model trains. I bought a bag of various size hollow tubes, squares and solid pieces around 3-4" long for about $15.

For the square tube you may could try some very small key stock. I'm not sure what metals you can find but I would say brass and stainless maybe? On the small rod look in to some stainless TIG filler rod or brazing rod.
