making of birch bark handled puukko

rinos my friend, I know how 'fun' those deep bolsters can be and I admire your choice to use brass as that deep material!

I think it was fortunate the handle was too long with the horn too, because, with just the bark and brass alone it looks beautiful.

Together with such a great looking blade from your friend, you have created a wonderful knife, bravo!

Nice piece. Who forged the blade? Don't see many with sharpening choils.

How strong is that style of belt loop attachment? Any problems with the leather coming out of the holes? Or did you use glue?

It is strong as leather strip used,no glue needed,trick is to mount it wet,once leather dries,holes will shrink a bit and lock the strips.Few examples of similar belt loops,first one is 5 years old and used a lot.
