I know there are tons of methods, and I have my own ideas, and have even thought of employing a cobbler, but I'd like to know what you guys suggest for making a sheath for my knife, which is a 13"x4" outside dimentions bush knife.

I'm open to any suggestions but would like to keep it cheap on material and tools.

I have seen guys use pvc pipe warmed up in the oven and squished flat, for machete's and such, then a simple cloth sleeve over it.

Find some Kukris and look at their sheaths

Especially any Cold steel models

You will likely need to have part of the spine back open to make up for that humpy portion towards the tip.

That's actually pretty neat, but I can spend a little more on the project. I want something someone else will want.
