making something better.

I got a sheath for a BK7 by shotgunner in trade, and I can say that his stuff is top notch. As good as any other custom kydex guys here on BF.

Just wanted to give a recommendation. Keep up the good work.

Ever done anything for an izula?

Thanks man, I wondered what ever happened to that monster.

as for a sheath.... i cant see this going into normal production... custom ordered sheath would be the way to go..

but all i see with the falk sheaths is they are injection molded with nylon.... the material works differntly. and im not 100% sure what your trying to express and desire. see i work in a shop so if something needs to be done to make it more to my needs. i just do it. you dont have to be an engineer (god i hope not) to make changes or to get things done for yourself. what you do have to do is be able to communicate your desires in a way some one can make it happen. or for you to draw out and make it happen.

engineers unfortunatly make lots of mistakes sence a lot never work the material they plan to use. i have used blue prints that are impossible my modern tooling. and made changes as needed.

you would make a fortune if you could figure out how to drill a square hole.

Nahh...it's been done. At least in wood. I've used them working in a cabinet shop.

There's supposed to be something that can drill square holes in aluminum sheet metal to. I've never seen one though.

Edit: I see Tripton beat me to it.

yea... sorry i rarely work wood. so i was thinking metal ... as for that , it would be a milling operation. i showed the same work to several of my machine teachers while impressed we all agreed it as a milling operations. there is also edm burn out and ultra sonics, and lots of other ways but it isnt a drilling operation. i could be wrong the march of technology keeps going on.
