Malkoff Flashlights

I probably don't need another flashlight but everytime I say that about a knife one shows up ...

Received a package from Alabama yesterday.

The MD2 is a solid piece of kit. The 6P/M61 combo is no slouch, but this thing is rugged. It's probably overbuilt to be honest. I prefer the form factor of the 6P, especially its UI, but I'm glad I have this bombproof device in the toolkit.

In my opinion Malkoff makes the best AA flashlight ever. 1-2v AA MDC runs forever on a rechargeable AA and has an awesome beam. If you come across one at a good price pick it up.

I also have a 18650 hound dog and its been my favorite flashlight to date. The the turnkey high/low ui is simple and very effective. The low is 30 lumens and high at 900 true lumens. These lights will seem brighter than you might expect when first use them which was surprising.

I have an M61T MD2 and it’s awesome! The throw is amazing. It has saved me and my little dog from skunks more than once. I like my Fenix PD35, it has a huge spill but after someone told me about Malkoff I had to have this spotter. And I agree with the previous poster; malkoff tells it like it really is regarding run time and lumens. Btw, I dropped this flashlight on my concrete patio last year and it damage the optics. I called Malkoff and spoke to Todd, really nice guy. They fixed it for free. Since then I purchased an MDC HA TAC that uses one CR123. It replaced my Fenix PD22, which I lost. Figured I’d upgrade. It has great spill and throw; it too is good for keeping an eye out for skunks. Gotta love guns, knives and flashlights.
