Well, that is a beautiful knife and sheath indeed. I am not a fan of gut hooks. I certainly could make an exception on this knife! The Ivory is very inviting and the damascus and bolsters are interesting too. I really find the file work my favorite element of the knife! Is it strictly file work? Any engraving at all?

That's quite a skinner, Bob. I usually don't like filework at all, but I like what I can see of this quite a lot. Would you mind adding a closeup of the spine and tang?

I swear I wanted to start a thread this year: "Show us your Gut Hooks". ;) They are an acquired taste, to put it nicely.

That said, they serve a proper function, too.

Yours really puts all of the finest elements in one package. Like the others, I admire it too.

You've been studying Joe Keeslar's work. Just great!

Thanks Steve, I accented the file work with a carbide cutter in a die grinder(not really calling that engraving)just trying to make it look more like a running vine.
