Mammoth "bark ivory" on Buck 55?

Just a heads up, in the Traditional Folder section of this forum they are ordering a 2007 Blade Forum Knife. The group decided to get a Mammoth Bark Ivory Canittler.

It is not a Buck, but it looks like a nice knife and they are still taking orders. It will run about $109 or so and it is my understanding it is done by the members here at pretty much at cost. I bought the 2006 Blade Forum Knife, a stag ring knife and I really like it. I don't have a mammoth ivory knife and I am looking forward toward getting one. ( A word of caution, last year it took about 12 weeks to get the order in, so be prepared for a bit of a wait.)

I looked at their website but didn't see that pattern under that name. Is that what they call their whittler pattern?

That is because they don't have one yet. It is a prototype and they agreeded to make it for us. Last year we got the ring knife before it was made for the general public.

Here is the thread about what we need to order, this is where I asked your same question on page 4:

And this is a post on how our knife should look like:

Still, I would say there is a bit of the unknown here, what does the mammoth ivory look like and does the knife really look like the one in the post. I just would like to say, the 2006 Blade Forum knife was really nice and that was a bit of an unknown.
