This is a boot dagger I completed with the handle being made from the piece of mammoth ivory it is displayed on.Handle has water buffalo face with a nickel silver spacer.The dagger comes mounted on the ivory sitting on a redwood base.I scrimshawed a woolly mammoth scene on the ivory and there is approx.1 1/2 lbs. of mammoth ivory in the knife mount.

Knife is 8' in length with the blade being 4 3/8".Blade is satin finished ATS34 steel.

Ray, I received my cave bear knives today and they took my breath away! Excellent!!!!
I also wanted to thank you for the extra care you took in packaging them to preclude shipping damage. They arrived in perfect shape. Lastly but certainly not least, thank you for the mammoth carving, that was exceedingly nice of you. I love it!
I must also tell you that you are quite the scrimshander. I'm amazed by your many talents!!! Happy trails and hope to talk with you again.
 
Wow, the knife base is worth the $300 by itself. If I only had the cash, I'd grab it. Someone is going to be very happy. You are quite the artist.
