A few emails came in asking for some decent ivory for folders or slip joints. That means smaller scales, generally, with good color and fairly solid surface.
Here is a little over 9 pounds of materail. All of it has been ground, sanded and polished to show that actual color of the bark.
There is an assortment of color and size here. There's some excellent blue as well. Please note that this ivory has been out of the ground for AT LEAST 4 years. It is nice and dry. The colors you see are the colors that are for real. No guesswork. The material is relatively flat and should but into a good number of really nice scales.
Also, please note, these are bark pieces, not tusk sections. That means NO WASTE, or very little waste. Good bark like this retails at $150 a pound. And at that, you still have to guess the colors.
I'm offereing this material at $70/pound, or $630 including shipping (conus)
