Mammoth Ivory Gent's Folder

overall length - 7 9/16"
blade - 3 3/16" tip to bolsters x 15/16" high
scales - mammoth ivory
bolsters - stainless steel
steel - Alabama Damascus (contains 52100, 5160, 15n20 and 203e)
grind - hollow 10" wheel
liners - jeweled stainless steel
thumbstud - hand made sterling silver
weight - 4.65 oz.

I will reluctantly add a matching clip for $25 extra

I used nylon sheathed ball bearings in the pivot for a fast and smooth operation. Strong detent, strong secure lock up and zero blade play in any direction.

(SOLD) 375.00 + 15.00 shipping and insurance in the US. Paypal, money order and most other forms of payment. Thanks for looking, Alan.

Ti Bladed Framelock

overall length - 7 3/16"
blade - 3 1/16" tip to frame x 1 3/8" high titanium with a carbidized edge to aid in edge retention
frame & clip - titanium anodized and stone washed
weight - 2.4 oz.

I did use the bearing pivot in this one but it is not quite as fast as with conventional blade steels but can be flicked open. Strong detent, strong secure lock up and zero blade play in any direction.

I am discounting this one because when opening and closing the detent bearing rolling on the titanium blade makes more noise than normal, kind of a squeaking sound that oil or grease does not help.

I found that when sharpening this knife, it works best to only sharpen the side of the blade with out the carbide and strop both sides lightly.

(Sold) $200 + $10 shipping and insurance in the US. Paypal, money order and most other forms of payment. Thanks for looking, Alan.
