mammoth ivory sebenza?

A mammoth ivory regular Sebenza would be sweet! Hmm I wonder if I could get just the scale for my Decorated Sebenza?
 
I bet you could work something out. Call the folks at CRK. I doubt that they would do the LE one that is.
 
What do you guy's think about a Mother of Pearl, not as a usual small round piece but as a inlay like the LE or the inlaided versions?
 
I talked to Chris about it at a knife show. I seem to remember him saying that a MOP inlay was not practical. Again, for the definative answer you'd have to contact CRK.
 
Thanks Scott, I'm planning on calling after work today. I have a Sm Seb that I want something special done for my 30th b-day. I just had never seen a MOP seb, and wondering about it.

Raghorn, who did the work on that Sebenza? It looks like an overlay (not an inlay) and the pattern is different than that of a normal WIS (Wood Inlay Sebenza).
 
It looks like an overlay to me too, I haven't seen a similar pattern. I'm not sure who did it; I was of the impression that the previous owner bought it new from CRK in 1997. I'll ask and see what I can find out.
 
I just heard back from the previous owner. He told me that it was done by a bladesmith in Chicago before he bought it; he did not know the smith's name. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
