I just picked up a complete tusk, unfortunately it was cut in two (the people were going to make jewelry with it, it was dredged out of a gravel pit 20 years ago. The large piece is 42 1/2 inches long around the curve and 36 inches measured straight from the tip to the butt, it is 3 3/4 inches in diameter and 11 3/4 in circumference, it weighs 13 pounds. The socket piece is 18 1/2 inches long, it wieghs 7 pounds. Together they make a 5 foot long tusk. It is ideal for restoration or handle material, it looks like it could yield some good interior ivory for hidden tangs too. It can be put back together and restored, you could restore just the large piece and make handle material with the small piece or cut the whole thing up for handle material. I am asking $700.00 for the large piece, $300.00 for the small piece or you can have them both for $900.00. As always, you have a money back guarantee, if you find it doesn't work for you when you get it in your hand, return it for your purchase price back, please do that within seven days. This is gauranteed to be legal material. I take all the normal forms of payment, Paypal, credit cards or checks. I am happy to answer any questions and I charge only the actual shipping charges, I ship using USPS flat rate priority mail and only charge actual shipping charges. Hope you like them. Please respond here, PM or email. Thanks for looking, Mark Sold to Happy
