Maybe this will catch on? What better way to brighten up the start of your week than by looking at wonderful pictures of fossilized mammoth ivory!

Very nice Jeff!

I'll play.

I love Mondays!! It's actually my "Sunday". Perfect for running errands and just in general screwing off since everyone else is working! Not carrying this knife today however. It's too fancy to carry while mowing the lawn and completing other chores. (T.A. Davison)

I love the look of mammoth, but I'm scared to use it. Believe it or not my first my second traditional purchased was this Whillemette. I love the curves and the color. My wife wanted a cat scan of my head for spending that much on "one tiny knife, " her words. I love the look but keep it hidden so as not to harm it. I had it up for sale two weeks ago. I go back and forth on what to do. I love the fractured look of mammoth, so much character. My knife doesn't have this, but I kept coming back to this one for the coloring.

You should use it! I like they grey in your scales.. get a bit of patina on the blades and I think it would look even better!

Amazing stuff! The variety in tone, color, and texture of mammoth is fascinating. see everyone next week

Gorgeous stuff, everybody! Here's a few better pics of my lightly colored Mammoth Hawthorne from yesterday:

(I know it's Tuesday, but couldn't wait to share!)

WOW! This is going to be a great thread. I hope to get some pics of mine this weekend if the sun peeks out.

I certainly feel near extinction today after next to no sleep hoping to see the Blood Moon which then got shrouded in rain clouds:mad::barf:

Some great fossil quality here makes up for this tiring non event day, can't show pix as I have none of this complex stuff but I do enjoy seeing all your contributions, some are beyond remarkable:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks to all, Will
