Oh my! If I thought I could land that beauty in the UK without anyone raising an eye about the Mammoth Ivory...!!

I'd hate to see it come to that with such a beautiful knife.

Enjoy whoever is the lucky fisherman:)

Wonderful work as ever Todd!

Todd,
I thought I would think about this for a minute, oh well. :(

thales2015,
CONGRATULATIONS.
YOU GOT A GREAT FOLDER.

Very excited about getting this one - just happened to log in at the right time…Great combination of blade shape and handle material. Truly fantastic. Oh…and the jigging is just plain stunning.

That is an awesome knife sir.I have never seen Mammoth Ivory (jigged) like that before, really nice.
And those pins, they look domed or champhered but whatever the look is great.I bet it handles really great too.
Well done.

Thanks Tim - sorry to have "stolen" it from you, I've had so many knives sold out from under me while I think the matter over - it's nice to finally get there first for a change :) This will be my first knife from Mr. Davison - looking forward to having it in hand.

thales2015,
I have a few T.A.Davison Knives, You picked a GREAT ONE.
It has everything going for it, Jigged Mammoth Ivory ( WOW ), coined edge and a classy shield.
The bolster and blade completes the PERFECT LOOK.
Todd NAILED this one, I am happy that You didn't wait.

Are you saying every now an then a blind squirrel finds an acorn?

Been there, done that.

Congrats on a great acquisition.

I really like the jigging, too.

Hi Todd, I realise I am too late to snag this one, but may I ask what this dark area is that shows in the shot looking down onto the closed knife, between the cover on the left and the back spring at the butt?
