For Sale: Brand new 100% handmade Damascus full tang knife. Great for a user or display piece. Should make a great carving knife.
Blade: Damascus steel, overall length is about 4 1/4" with a 2 " cutting edge and 2 1/8" blade. The knife is signed and dated with month and year I made it.
The damascus blade was cut and shaped from Chad Nichols damascus billets. It is shaped and surface ground to 220 grit, hand sanded at 220, 400, 600 and 1200 grit before heat treating and fast oil quench. Then resanded and buffed before acid etching. It is heat treated and tempered to a Rockwell 57 to 58. The bolsters are from the same damascus billet and also acid etched
Handle: Scales are real mammoth tooth that are gorgeous and have been stabilized and a backing material added. These scales have been sanded to a 1200 grit and buffed to a smooth finish. The tooth has blacks, browns and yellows. The scales and bolsters are held to the damascus decorated screws.
Sheath. Comes with a handstitched elephant skin pouch sheath made by me. (I'm still learning sheaths)

Guarantee: As the maker of the knife I guarantee this knife against workmanship defects. Abuse and neglect are not covered.
