Mammoth tooth slice set. 9.5 ounces
4 inches x 2 ½ inches x ½ inch thick. Tooth sliced the other direction then normally seen. Interesting patterns and colors. Solid stable natural. Might be enough for pistol grips, or possibly two sets of knife scales, certainly one large set. About 40,000 year old tooth from Alaska. $160

After a week musk ox pictures show up instead of my mammoth tooth. Hmmm well the mammoth tooth sold – it’s an old post now, maybe not worth editing. But no that is not mammoth tooth- it is musk ox horn, also on my web site (smile). Does this happen to anyone else? The pictures loose their address. Why. Miles

Miles,

When I look at the source for both your posts, I see you using the same image file names (e.g. img0187.jpg through img0192.jpg). The addresses are obviously correct, as your images are showing, but they are also identical... as if you are reusing the image file names.

I'm not aware of anything in VBulletin that would change your posts to modify the image file names.

Thanks for letting me know. I suspect my web program re-assigns picture addresses when I add new pictures or delete another picture. I might try referencing from my computer not a URL address. This limits how many pictures I can use in listing. But can experiment with the other options for getting a picture up. Apparently it is not a common issue. And nothing the forum is doing. Something at my end! Thanks for the help.
