This is a real nice little mammoth ivory tusk section for knife handles, for a knife display at Atlanta, or if you just want to have one. It's pretty solid so it should have some good material for hidden tangs, you really never can tell for sure but it looks good, and there is plenty of bark for scales. It is 28 1/2 inches from end to end in a straight line and 37 inches long around the outside of the curve. It is three inches in diameter at its thickest point and 8 3/4 inches in circumference. It has been out of the ground for quite a while and is good and dry. I have sealed it up with CA glue. I am happy to answer any questions to help you custom cut your own scales. I am asking $600.00 for it. I am happy to combine orders to save you on shipping, I charge only the actual amount for shipping, I ship U.S. flat rate priority. Hi Stacy, I do have another tusk, it is 52 inches long but quite expensive, has some blue and green in it. I had sent pictures to another customer and need to give him first right of refusal. Want to see it?
