My latest order finished. Now time to get crankin on blade show knives.

I know it's similar to the last one but I had two orders for this style :o

This one has a 9-3/4'' W2 blade with full tapered tang, mammoth ivory scales and damascus bolsters.

Please do let me know what y'all think:p

That mammoth sure looks like stag from 10 paces. :p Seriously - another beauty here. Great lines, outrageous hamon, what's not to like?

Hot damn!!! I never get tired of looking at your pieces!!

That is one good looking knife, Don. The overwhelming presence of the
Hamon on this large piece is quite dramatic.
All over, from seeing many of your knives on the Forum and in private
collections, there is something subtle in your design that instantly
fingerprints such a knife as one you created....

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

You already know hat i think

Aww, Don,

Just stunning again, and the subtle ladder pattern on the bolsters sets it off. A second neato on the choil.

WOW! Just WOW!

Very nice handle. Great hamon. Nice work!

Outstanding. Typical outrageous Hanson steel.
Beautiful mammoth. Looks very much like on the big bowie at last year's Blade Show.
Though I do like a guard on a bowie this size, the damascus bolster creates a very pleasing transition from handle to blade.

Wow, thanks guys!

I guess no one hates this knife :D Where is all the negativity:p

Shawn, I'm bringing more than 4 knives to Blade and yes, I'll post them all:eek:

These replies are very much appreciated.

Some of the prettiest birthday cakes never managed their icing like you can do your Hamon !

Flying hamon,looks like dawn breaking.
Cool mammoth does look staggy.
Another nod at the choil treatment.
Gorgeous!

Like always, this one is beautiful and has great composition. Anyone would be proud to own/carry this, unless they are nuts..

OK, you asked for it.

God, I hate everything about that knife. There are stains on the blade, brown stuff on the handle, the pins you used are too small, and it looks like it doesn't have an edge. :D

Don, you need to change your handle to "Magic Hamon," "Happy Hamon," or maybe even "Magic Happy Hamon." Cool sticker.
