This is a product of Man at Arms, the youtube channel I think, now producing 1 hour shows on ElRey. Quite a bit of actual bladesmithing in the first episode. For those of you who wished Forged in Fire wasn't a game show, this is the show for you. Actual power hammer forging, forge welding, forge cutting, etc. They made two of the same weapon, one forged the other CNC cut. Pretty educational, but probably not as entertaining as FiF.

Sorry I didn't post about this when I first learned of the show on Monday night, but better late than never.

Wish I had ElRay network! Or at least fast enough internet to watch they're YouTube channel! (I live in the country where we can't get good internet.)

Daniel.

I've been watching their Youtube channel. They're very well done IMO.

Friend at the gun club mentioned this to me last night. Forgot to check if I get that channel.

If this is the guys at Baltimore Knife and Sword, you can check their youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUUGFk1wE5OFzJNb17KKGaTjP6yG6OKE4

On "Man at Arms Reforged" they recreate weapons from movies and video games. They aren't just for show (except perhaps the most fantastical pieces), and are made using proper materials/ heat treat, etc. It's cool stuff to watch. Their shop is only 40 minutes from my home, and I've been thinking about seeing if I can check them out in person.

Caught the first episode last night. I get a kick out of Illya (sp). Actually, looking around on youtube for videos of/by him was how I originally found out about the Baltimore guys, after seeing him on FiF.
