man...busse combat blades...

oh yeah and very important it must be satin blade.....why are satins more expensive can someone let me in on that?

The satin blade takes more time to create the polished blade. More time = higher labor cost. The satin blades are pretty but they tend to scratch when used, thus dulling the shine. One fantastic compromise, if you could even call it a compromise, is to procure a blade that is double cut. The double cut blade is polished and then bead blasted resulting in a durable, grey finish. The double cut blade will not scratch as easily as the satin blades. The third choice are the coated blades. There are several color coatings that Busse Combat offers. You can match your blade color and handle color to suite your fancy. The downside of a coated blade is the coating will scratch, chip and peal when the knife is used for heavy duty activities.

The ASH-1 is currently available through www.bussecombat.com However, they may not be available much longer with the NMFBM comming up soon (probably within one week). You can also peruse the Busse / Swamp Rat / Scrapyard Knives For Sale thread for previous released Busse knives.

Good Luck.
