Man caught with knife in shoe at airport. Guess the knife.

One day while walking to my departure gate after TSA, tapped my right side and noticed my sebenza in my right hip pocket. Talk about scared shtless!!! Not on purpose, but just habit loading my pocket with my everyday stuff. Will NEVER do that again,... Talk about dodging a bullet....

Maybe the same way they missed this one:

^Clipped to the outside of my backpack (by accident, then forgotten.) Definitely the most "weaponized" knife I own--and labeled "AUTOMATIC" to boot. Made it through security, onto the plane, and onto the airport shuttle where I discovered it and had a silent heart attack.

I've so done that before! A UKPK clipped in bottom pocket of cargo pants. Went through metal detector. Same silent heart attack!

On the way home from Las Vegas last year (USN show), my wife was detained for 5 minutes until TSA retrieved a 4 oz. bottle of water from her purse.
One of our knifemaker friends flew home on an earlier flight. He returned home safely. While unpacking his 511 carryon bag, he discovered 4 of his 5" titanium folders and a fixed blade knife! Makes ya feel real safe to fly.

Interesting about the knives TSA missed. Years ago they found a switch blade in my carry on that I had thought I lost. We laughed and I checked the bag in.

I think hundreds of people every day accidentally forget to check their bags for pocketknives or other un-allowed items. Heck, I've even done it. Twice.

But hiding a knife in a hidden compartment inside your shoe... That seems like a deliberate attempt to conceal a weapon. I bet he's in more trouble than the typical forgetful person.
