I started grinding bevels after HT about a month ago, and the first time was with a 3M ceramic on O-1, the belt was a little worn, took a while. I was like whatever, a little longer, but no big deal. Got around to using a new Blaze 50, and the steel came off so fast, the blade stayed real cool, more than expected. To me it came off as easy as using those 3M ceramics on annealed CPM154. Very pleased.

___NOTE___ if you use the jerk it emoticon in any pretense I WILL NOT be offended!!! In fact, I encourage its use!:jerkit:

I used a cfaftsman 2x42 and used one belt for one knife for each grit. I bought a 40 grit a few months ago and 20 knives later I can still use it for light metal removal. I love them for hogging.
