Man, I really hate the waiting part!

I know how you feel Brian! I just scored my favorite model - a scandi arete with beautiful spalted maple on another forum. I have been drooling over some of the spalted woods coming out of Osprey Knife and tool. I can't believe my luck finding one in my favorite Fiddleback model! I can't wait to hold it. There was also an old school burlap scandi terrasaur available on the patriotic bushcraft focused site.

The Arete is on my "need to try" list. One day I will land one. Glad you found the one you were looking for! Chris has been doing some absolutely stunning handles.

Nice score on the kephart great taste.

Thanks, I have the users with synthetic handles I need for work sorted out, so I have been looking more and more at wooden handles. I remember when this one showed up lat year I believe, or maybe even the year before but I couldn't afford it at the time.

Well...according to the tracking the Esquire is in New York. Wow, starting out in the deep south, then going to Texas, then off to Australia, and then to New York City? Man this this is going to have a craaaaazy accent when it gets here :)

Thanks I like the understated elegance of it.

Nah .. it'll always have a Southern accent, but it's passport is getting used. ;)

Yeah, I would love to see it show up in one of those crates like in the Warner Bros cartoons with stickers from everywhere it's been on it :)

Well...there is a pink slip in my PO Box so as long as they don't somehow manage to lose it, I will have the Esquire tomorrow :)

Very nice, very nice.
The wait begins for me now as I await the camp Muk I purchased last Friday, and a beautiful ladyfinger from KSF.

Yeah, I know lol, we all take turns waiting. But it's always worth it :D

Just opened the Esquire from Down Under, and phone pics would never do this little jewel justice so a pic will have to wait a bit :)
