I don't know what's up. Just one of those weeks I guess. Bought a cold steel swift 2 that had to be sent back because of a defect. Bought a used paramilitary 2 that was advertised as just light scratches on the blade but overall In great shape. He forgot to mention and you couldn't see it in the pics the bent blade. Broke the tip off my needle nose on my leather man. And got a brand new Doug Ritter griptilian that caused me an emergency room visit to get 8 stitches in my hand. My own fault for not paying attention. But damn. ! At least its Friday. I need some beer.

How did that happen? I just got a Ritter Grip this week too but so far so good :)

please change your title to include *graphic image* or something of the sort for weak stomach'ed folks like myself. I expected to see a broken blade, not a sewn up injury.

Could have been worse. This will make you a better man. Wish you speedy recovery

I returned the pm2. Im sending the leather man in for warranty work. And as far as the cut I just wasn't paying attention. I had the blade open and something drew my attention away from what I was doing and I dropped my knife hand and just the weight of the blade was enough to cause the injury to my weak hand. I really wasn't messing around. I honestly didn't even feel it. But it was open enough that I didn't want to mess around. So I just drove myself to the hospital. Didn't take long to fix. Things can only get better from here. I really like the Doug Ritter though.

You and the Ritter had a bonding, your pals for life now.

Sounds like you are trying to kick caffeine in the morning! Keep it clean and heal well..

Such a bummer, I hope it heals up quick for ya. We've all been there though lol and NFD is right, you and your Ritter have a connection now. Blood brothers.

Take care, Bro. If you keep a cold beer in that palm, it will help keep the swelling around the stitches down. ;)

Yeah, it sucks to be you. Hopefully the rest of the year will fair better and this week was enough bad luck to last the rest of the year.
