Finally spent more than $150.00 on a watch . Exceptional! I think I'd be uncomfortable spending more but this Lum Tec M36 has been perfect. The fact they ship with three different bands makes the pill easier to swallow. Big enough while not being too big, comfortable, fast service, well worth the look I think if you're interested in a new watch.

My two favs...

There's a watch in this picture?

(Sweet Yuna -- I just ordered one from him a couple of weeks ago. :D )

Yeah, it's on top of the folding bar of sweetness :D You are going to love your Yuna, I don't think anyone has ever not been completely impressed!

Nice LÜM-TEC, brother! I had an M Series but I had to sell it, but I kept this one...

Glad to see someone else pick up on this fantastic company!

Nice Carter!

Yeah I think I noticed them first here, I don't remember where though. Someone posted a pic and I loved it. Dangerous though, equally as dangerous as knives. You could probably have about 5 of these too. I just wish the bands were easier to swap.

They are pretty dangerous, almost as bad as Carter neck knives. I want the M42 and a V-series, but for now having only one watch isn't that big of a deal.

I like the Yuna, though... :) That grind looks interesting! That's laminated, right?

I know this is a watch thread........ BUT....... I really want a Yuna bad and I'm just about ready to pull the trigger. I've been eyeing the Hard series for about a year. I'm having trouble deciding between the Hard2 and the Hard3. What do you think about the S-type?

I want a Lum-Tec M21 Tungsten really bad, but until then, this will have to do

Victorinox is one of the best values in swiss watches out there. I love my Alpnach Auto Chrono.

And nice 1911. From one of the top manufacturers for Browning's old design, too...

I think the hard 2 is the perfect size, the Hard 1 is huge, the S type is sick but maybe a bit too thick. Hard 2, small choil, hard to beat. If you don't mind huge knives ala the Spyderco Military then grab the Hard 1

Sounds like you're talking about the Hard and Mini Hard, rather than the Hard 1 and Hard 2. The difference between the Hard 1 (fighter blade) and Hard 2 (drop point) is the blade shape, not the size: both are listed as being 3.5" from blade tip to handle. The Mini Hard series is the same basic design but 3" blade to handle instead of 3.5".

//has spent way too much time ogling Yuna's website over the past few weeks :D

Nice watch. Sometimes I get the watch bug like I get the knife bug, but knives are fairly inexpensive compared to watches, so I try to keep to knives. I'll have to look into Lum Tec. Is it tritium?

You are right of course. I never liked the fighter style of the Hard 1. The Hard 2 I think is a perfect natural blade shape.

It's not tritium, it's:
"This is a special 8 layer application of ultra bright glowing superluminova photoluminescent material."

Yep, ATS34 and ZDP 189. Sharp, wicked sharp

The Hard 2 is my favorite blade shape, too. It's what I'm getting on my Yuna.
