Man jewelry

Hmm, not to rag on your excellent watch choices, but give me a Casio F91W-1 any day of the week, and I'm good.
At just $7 a piece, a lost or broken timepiece is easy enough to shrug off, although the one I have right now has lasted me 4 years so far.
Truly the best economic watch available, and popular amongst the reservists on base.

If it was that easy we'd all drive Civic Ex's, carry Spyderco Tenacious', have a quarter mil in the bank with no debt and own our houses outright :D

That said though, the whole lost or stolen thing comes up often. It's been years, decades really since I lost or had stolen a knife or watch...

You could be all the way there already! I've seen Swiss Army watches for double a LumTec

Congrats, Lum-Tecs are really nice watches! I got a Victorinox Swiss Army XLT Summit a couple years ago on sale for $75. It regularly sells for $400 or more.

Nice watches. Any website links?

I have more jewelry than my wife does! and I buy her lots of it, but she never wears it lol...I mostly wear my wedding ring (Click to see) and Mjollnir pendant (Click to see) I made years ago from cold forged 316L, but also have a gold curb link chain but haven't worn it much lately.

Watch wise it depends, if I want to be fancy and there is no chance it'll get damaged I have my Zenith pocket watch, for out doors stuff my Seiko divers watch and for day to day I use my cell phone.

^^Thanks, I agree it's a really nice Seiko 5. I believe I've posted these in another thread on Blade Forums but what the heck, here they are again!

What model G shock is that.If I ever buy one for myself that will be it.

It's the Casio G-Shock Aviation (GW2500-1A). It's a nice watch that's Solar powered with Atomic time keeping.

They come in three versions: light metal face with black resin band, dark metal face with black resin band and dark metal face with black metal bracelet.
I wish I got the this version I have but with a black metal band but they don't make it. I priced a metal band and it's ridiculously expensive.
They list for $240 but IIRC I happened to get mine for about half that price at a local Winners store. Winners is a chain of stores that carries brand name fashions that have just gone out of season. Think TJ Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory.

I have a pile of watches - they have been piling up over the years & they even have their own custom wood burl box to live in - I don't have nothing really expensive compared to some of the guys here, 1,200 bucks is my most expensive one - that’s a lot for me to spend on a watch - but my question is - why the hell do we even wear a watch anymore? Is it just habit? 99.9% of us carry a cell phone that has a very accurite clock - I'm guess it easier to look at my wrist - I don't know -

I'm debating going back to wearing a watch because my new cell is a 4.3" touchscreen. I love it, but due to size I don't always have it with me, I tend to leave it sitting on a desk more than I did my Blackberries.

I carry a HTC phone now - i built a leather pouch or sheath for it. It's a little on the large size but it's worth it. Tom Hudson

I've got a HTC too, in an Otterbox. I had a Saddleback sleeve I loved for my last phone, wanting to make one for this one, but I've never messed with leather.

I often go out without my phone, or keep my phone in a bag, so a watch is still very useful to me

This is the definition of man jewelry. Very cool. IL add this picture of my skull ring, don’t wear that much but I’m planning on having it converted in to a key chain ornament or something. The ring was a gift from one of the local merchants in the state of Guanajuato that I helped out, he was having trouble whit an obnoxious neighbor, so we ran the idiots license plates and… stolen. Bye Bye neighbor.

Great looking ring! I'm sure one of the fine silver smiths in Mexico could convert it, I have a few silver items an ex got me when she was in the East of Mexico and the craftsmanship is amazing!
