Hi Fellas:

I'm kidding in the title - your money is good even if you don't own a John Deere - however, the new owner of this knife may want to go out and buy a John Deere to match it. I was fortunate enough to talk Butch Harner of Harner Knives into selling me one of his fine sets of canvas rag micarta scale sets.....this pattern is John Deere Crush and the quality of this canvas micarta is superb.....it's handmade and he knows what he's doing. I became interested in rag micarta after I saw an $8,000 Loveless Dropped Hunter for sale with rag micarta scales......beautiful stuff but no longer commercially made. The nicely matching .060" yellow/black triple liners are from the renowned knife and tomahawk maker R.W. Wilson. I was in his shop about three months ago - what an operation. I took some of the belly out of this blade so it is easier to open up smaller game or perform Al Qaeda and Taliban castrations with this model. I hope you like it! $190 delivered USPS Priority mail/insured ConUS.....no international sales on this one please. The first "I'll take it" gets it. Paypal preferred but I'll take MOs from BF community members with good feedback ratings. Please PM me for Paypal information.

Best regards,

TK

I've owned a John Deere , it did not look like that . But then again I did not crush it . Sold it for the 5k instead .
Interesting stuff TK , it is a shame the rag micarta is no longer around , i liked it . I see you put your new belt to use .

nice looking package all around .

Where I come from tractors only come in two colors. Green and Yellow. Nice work sir. I wish i had the money to buy it.

Sorry biglapdog - they come in three colors - don't forget the black tires. :D

Great Knife TK. Handle Material + Triple liners? Really set this piece...into another realm of something great. Great Knife TK. You can do it all, these mixed materials/blends of micarta handles are the one all knifemakers should aspire to! Very Nice Sir, Very nice.

Bad Boy - Lets not get crazy here!!! There are makers out there that make me look like a novice - but, thanks for the kind words just the same.

TK,
I thought I had a blade for everything, then you point out my short comings :) Nice job

EDIT:By "short comings", I wasn't referring to my own castration , but instead the need for more multi-function blades :D

Eric:

If you're going to do your own self-cas......., use a pair of bricks - it only hurts when you get your finger caught between them -- trust me.:D

Your buddy,
