The manix is S30V steel, plainedge, satin finished. I carried it one time. The blade is dead center and it is razor sharp. The Contego is satin finished blade in M4 steel. I have carried it a couple times. The blade is dead centered and it is razor sharp. I did grind the glass breaker off of it. I wanted $85 for the manix and $135 for the Contego.
