Two great knives, two great steel blades....
North Arms Skaha 2 - Magnacut
This Skaha 2 is brand new....never cut anything and has never been carried. I was on the Skaha waiting list for so long that I actually forgot about it until I received the email from our Canadian friends earlier this summer that my wait was almost over. Hell, I didn't even realize that the Skaha 2 had upgraded to a Magnacut blade until the knife came in a few weeks ago. Since I received it, I've flipped it and closed it several times....the action is so, so nice. Fit and finish throughout are spot on, and the carbon fiber scales are some of the nicest I've seen.
I hate to part with this Skaha, but I've moved on to just a very small group of folding knives that I use regularly, and this admittedly superb knife just doesn't fit within those boundaries.
I'm asking $310, same as what I paid (including shipping from Canada). If you want to experience this great folding knife and not wait a year or two.....jump on this one. Payment by PayPal F&F and shipping by USPS Priority Mail from St. Louis.
SOLD Spyderco Manix 2 - CPM 15V
Been wanting to get get the Manix 2 in 15V since it was introduced, but now they are scarce and hard to find at an prices that aren't absurd. I got this one on an eBay auction from a legit seller. Paid more than I wanted to (and more than what I'm asking here), but didn't get too scalped. I installed some Teratuf scales from Fireside Company, which I think are a HUGE improvement aesthetically and functionally from the dull brown G-10 scales that came with this sprint run. By the way, I don't have the original scales, but I do have the box and papers.
I've carried this Manix 2 15V a bit, used it sparingly, and sharpened it once on a Work Sharp Pro Precision Adjust. Also have used EDCI to prevent corrosion on blade (I did notice one tiny spot on blade when taking photos today). Right now I've got the pivot tuned for good action, which results in slight side-to-side blade play. A micro-touch tighter and the blade play disappears, but the action stiffens up. I've played around with it previously and gotten it just about perfect, but I'll let the new owner adjust as preferred.
I'm asking SOLD $325 (scales alone were $95 new and the knife....ugh....much more). This is a firm asking price, and I think it's fair, all things considered. Payment by PayPal F&F and shipping by USPS Priority Mail from St. Louis.
I'm not looking for trades at this time....thanks.
