I got the M4 sprint version. Nice knife but I prefer the Para 2. Just not crazy about the lock on the Manix 2. The one on mine is too hard to release one handed. It's probably just me as the M2 is obviously very popular.

why not go for the BD30P?

Do you own a 154CM "vanilla" model?

Yep. Although the new steel model, for only 112 bucks, looks pretty good.

Just picked up Manix 2 S90V, which cost me quite a bit. Still, it was worth it.
I figure if the steel is right I'll get more of those...

i have the XHP version and i like it a lot, very easy to sharpen and gets scary sharp very quick. i dont know if it is due to the steel or geometry of the blade, but it rocks.
