I got the all black version in S30V because I thought I'd feel bad beating on that s110v. Feels great in the hand, F&F couldn't be much better for a producfion knife and love that leaf shaped blade. Think I'm going to sell my XM-18 which means of course why not buy a new knife?!

Originally was considering BM 810, 710, ZT 0630 and Hogue EX01, but after handling the Manix 2 I honestly think I just need to decide whether I want the Blurple Manix 2 in s110v or the lightweight.

Love this knife. Current collection includes Spyderco GB, Blurple PM2, Native 5 G10, New BM Grip G10, XM-18, and the Manix 2 among others. I think I've gone full blown spyderco convert but still open to suggestions.

Feel free to chime in!

I have nothing but respect for ZT but I'm not a fan of flippers and also not in love with the frame lock. I could handle one of the two for the right knife though, which is why I'm considering a 0630.

I agree completely. All my ZTs pretty much got sold or put away after I got the Manix 2s and my XM-18. The 0566CF still gets some carry time but it was a gift and just fits my hand so well.

The ZT 56* series is a nice bunch
If you like the manix 2, look for a sprint in your preferred steel. They have a 52100 sprint coming out this year iirc.

AFAIK, the Military is getting the 52100, haven't heard anything about the Manix getting it, maybe I missed it?

Bah, now that you mention it... I do recall that it was the millie, sorry OP and thanks for the correction.

Still, my suggestion stands. Look for some of the sprint runs that catch your eye.

The Benchmade 710-1401 is also nice for a factory knife.
