Had to edit out the part about the rivets, I've since seen other US made ones with them

Almost all of them have been made with rivets. The rivets almost look too perfect compared to my LW models.

LOL, so far the number one thing this thread has done is make me think I just need to quit buying production knives and just stick to hand made knives. I'm 60 this year, I have this M2LW, A Delica, a BM Presidio II and Bugout, and a hand full of Case knives. That's probably more than I'll ever wear out in what time I have left, and I mostly carry a couple of Ed Martin fixed blades, a Randall #11, and occasionally an ESEE 3 or an Izula. If the counterfeiting is really this good now, then I'm probably just done buying modern folders until someone gets a handle on all the imported counterfeits.
