Manix 2 or Para 2

I prefer the blade shape of the PM2, but I just cant get used to the compression lock. The Manix2 is my everyday, everyday work knife. I have tried other types over the last 3 years, but nothing has kicked the Manix2 out of my pocket for more than a week or so.
 
Both are excellent knives and must owns. You will eventually own both.

American made. Great construction. Powerful and reliable locks. Both come out in sprint runs with different steels and handle materials for you to try out.

Get them both and enjoy them! :)
 
Have 2X PM2's and a M2 LW S110v

I almost exclusively carry my PM2s the M2 hasn't seen pocket time for almost 6 months

The para takes up less space in pocket, is narrow in the pocket, has great feel in the hand and the blade shape is perfect

I plan on getting an M2 blurple s110v to go with my other M2 but I doubt it will ride much in the pocket for the aforementioned reasons
 
I have both. (Well, the Manix is the LW version) The PM2 gets alot more use. Handle both before you decide, if possible.
 
Former longtime Endura EDC'r from around '94-'08. Went through them all but when they changed the handle shape they lost me. Went to the Para 2 and never looked back. I like the M2 a lot but never carry it. There's something that feels perfect about the PM2.
Speaking of Para, every time I read that I start channeling SIGforum... ;)

"Eventually" is the key word there. The commerce secretary (my wife) has a limited budget for knives. Haha.

My friend postponed our trip, so it's going to be a little while before I can handle them.
 
I have a blurple manix 2 and love it...I can see where some people might called it a "pocket hog" compared to the PM2 but it doesn't bother me.

If the mail every shows up (I hate USPS) then I will have my Manix 2 LW and that might end up being my favorite...not not.

If I could only have one I would buy the Manix 2 but you really cannot go wrong with either knife. Enjoy!

I think the weight of the manix is what made me feel like it was a little bulky. The pm2 is a sheer light weight but is still tall and the spydiehole, while a great design, makes it tall and kinda hard to get past to retrieve your keys IMO

Manix 2, without question.
Every time I decide I want a PM2, I have to figure out what scales I'm going to put on it. (Dislike the feel of the stock PM2)
