Manix 2 , perfect edc ?

ive got 3 and am very tempted to make it 4 with the cruwear cf model....
 
I like the Domino, but I like the Manix better. I prefer the cbbl to a framelock.
 
I have a lw but it's bd1 , I think a lw with S110v would be perfect . I'm have zero knowledge of cru wear but it sounds appealing to me or maybe the maxamet

That would be amazing ! My paramilitary 2 is a close 2nd to my lw manix. Have they made a manix w the compression lock ?

I think I presently own around 5-7 Military's? I'd have to check. :confused: I just picked up a one of the new S90V CF/Ti Sprint models last week. I must say: I'm very happy and impressed- it's an awesome Millie! :thumbsup:

On topic: I just purchased a Sabre grind S30V Manix2 on another forum, just today. I had purchased a Manix XL when I first got into knife collecting, but sold it soon thereafter. I've read so many positive comments in various thread's regarding this model...I thought for $70- heck, I'll give in another shot!

And if I don't like it...I'll just give this to one of my good BF bro's, who was recently ripped off in a transaction with another member. :)

Either way, it should be arriving Wednesday or Thursday, so I'll post some pictures and let you (OP) know what I think, then.
 
It is not my perfect EDC, but it is a fantastic knife. My favorite one I have is the KC exclusive carbon fiber and Cru-Wear, best Manix 2 IMO. 2nd favorite would be the Maxamet, hope they make a g10 version of this one. Fantastic steel, a PM3 in Maxamet would be great too!!
 
I do think that the Manix is one of the best EDC knives around. It's one of the few I own more than one of (CRUWEAR/CF and S110V/LW). I'm also toying with the idea of grabbing more. I would really like to get the Maxamet and S90V lightweight ones as well.

For me, as far as pure utility and ergonomics go, the Manix wins among Spyderco's other offerings. And the S110V is some of the best bang for your buck around.
 
On paper, it's the best. In real life, it just does not work for me. I really like the knife but, It just takes up to much pocket real estate and the ergos just are not right in my hand. Bummer. Same problems I have with the PM2.
