Manix 2 skeletonized frame?

Well, it appears the original listed weight spec was off. According to GPK and some users on the Spyderco forum, the Blurple S110V Manix indeed has skeletonized liners! GP lists weight as 4.15 oz.

Yeah, Mr. Michael Janich posted that info and confirmed that the liners will be skeletonized.
Gonna be a great knife, although I don't think I'll be trading my lightweight for one. :D

Come on, guys. As blades&wrenches stated, the difference between sprint and standard Manix weights is .75 oz.

Is that really a deal breaker for some of you??

I for one, will be picking one of these beauties up. S110V and different colored scales are enough to sell me on this one ;)

hey, there are guys hear that will watch the scale tip up/down with each oz.!not me though, but i will not carry my manix 2-G10 because it just to heavy and large in my pocket.

looks like im adding it to my ever expanding list of wanted knives.

Might be the thing that tips me over into buying ever frikin' blurple knife they decide to make. That color has grown on me, I love my manix, and the skelotonized liners to drive down the weight with that steel are just awesome.

I've never had a problem with fully composite handles like people seem to gripe about. Unless you're using your knife as a lever or something the fact that the handle isn't steel shouldn't come up as a problem. It's more of a feel thing I guess: some just want it to feel overbuilt. I had a g10/skeletonized sprint manix but got rid of it pretty fast
Because the proud liners were a little too grippy/scratchy for me. Go handle the lightweight somewhere! It's awesome! Ill stick with my blurple pm2 all the same.

Damn, so the liners are punched after all? Well that's good news.

I'm really excited for this one. I had better file these taxes already haha.

F&f on the one I handled was overall excellent. The pivot action was a bit sticky. Liners are also heavily skeletonized. Was told by associate it tipped the scale at 4.2 oz. Is this the lightest production G10 Manix ever?
