Hello, I just got a G-10 Manix 2, and I love the feel of it, it's a great knife.

It's also really heavy, so I'm looking for either skeletonizing work or advice that I sell it and buy a Cruwear or other skeletonized sprint Manix, if the cost of lightening is too high.

So I am hoping to hear from the forum, is anyone up for skeletonizing a Manix?

At some point I might also like scales in either anything other than black or carbon fiber, but probably not right now unless I could trade for them or if you have a pair you want gone so bad you'll include them at an unreasonably good price. I will probably end up getting scales later from Steve Ketchen, but I don't mind the factory ones at all.

Does anyone make ball bearing housings out of a different material, like G-10?
