Manix 2XL Regrind and Mods

Looks pretty good. I love the Spyderco leaf-shaped blades, but this one actually looks really good with the modification. Nice work.

Most of the regrinds I've seen here and on the web reprofile the belly of the blade. I decided to leave the belly alone and just tweak the spine. Very close to the Mili style. Maybe max of 1/8" is all I took off, but it sure changes the whole knife.
I like seelow123's suggestion about heat coloring the clip...

That looks fantastic. I might just copy you, if you don't mind. Thanks for sharing.

- best wishes, Jazzz.

It is amazing how just a bit off the spine changes the look. I prefer the new shape to the stock shape, but agree with the poster who wrote that the hard corner above the opening hole would benefit from some rounding.

The "hard corner" is actually the last jimping serration behind the Spyderhole and I didn't want to ruin it. I think it adds to the blade profile's uniqueness. To put a rounding aspect to it would have meant changing the angle of the grind on the spine plus there's not much meat left between the top of the hole and the spine!

@jazz, feel free to copy away!
