ok , i know i am going to be branded a fool or whatever but i have created some mods on my Maadi to where i can attach my Manix! i have put in countless hours and some dollars at ace hardware making this possible. i am trying to find my camera so i can get some pictures up! you guys gotta see this.

doc snubnose on the spyderco forum, my buddy, jokingly stated it would be cool if i could and i took his thoughts to heart and actually got it to work. dont know how hard it will be on the knife but it looks hella mean!!!!:D

^^^^
What he said.....

Hurry up with that camera, my curiosity is getting the better of me. ;)

Are you kidding me???

That was a joke man. Please tell me you did not attach a folding knife to the end of gun? I don't think the lock will take well to being used as a Bayonet.

That's just crazy...

I'm thinking I agree. Only a bayonet should be on the end of a gun. At least only a fixed blade. ;)

men, i will not ever use it.. i was just bored the other day at work and we were slow so i went to ace to get some things for some other mods i was working on an AR15 for this fella. so i get some things i needed or thought i would need to attach the manix just to "see" what it would look like and its neat. i have this feeling that the manix will retire back to its home, in my pocket. haha. but it looks neat... believe it or not. yea and i wanna get this online so bad... i gotta find that POS fuji camera!

I think putting a butter knife on your ak would be more useful you could butter your bagel while shooting the "infidel".

I'm all for attaching a yellow FRN C17 Catcherman to a Barrett M-99. The folder blade is a little more flexible and can handle those off angle thrusts without snapping easily.......and it's great for those long distance .50 cal filleting jobs you run into in the field........

Java,

Your avatar is truly disturbing. Makes me think I've got vision problems :grumpy: :D .

What??? It's just a snap of a lovely Amerasian lady I found on the net.

Why is there something wrong???? Is the picture fuzzy?? Do you see things double?? Are there spots before your eyes???

Maybe you DO need to make an appointment with an avtometrist.......:D

I see an AK and I see a Manix but I don't see a Manix mounted to an AK.

Some may call you a fool but I like the idea. With folders getting stronger all the time, you are just ahead of the curve with this idea. Someday, the military will issue folding bayonets that can double as fighting knives and EDC soldier's knives. Think something like a Emerson with a longer blade and that is probably what it will look like.

You could market your idea to the military and see what comes up. How about a large Sebenza folding bayonet? People say the Sebenza lock is so strong, maybe now they can prove it.

I actually think I saw a folding bayonet made exclusively for the task in the main area of the forum maybe a year ago.

Why not try attaching an e-tool instead? You could shoot the 'infidel' and bury him with the same thing!

Italian extrema ratio is already moving in that direction

these pics were before i started the manix on the AK project...

in other news, i bought a cheap sheath that happens to fit my manix PERFECTLY, at the gun show today!!! i am carrying it on my hip and i can draw the manix quickly from it. had to let yall know!

Hey Meshmdz I have been following you since you bought your manix why are you so into it, dont get me wrong It is great that you are but why? Is it functionally that much better than an endura or a military? Let me in on the secret.
