I have a Combo edge Manix I'm considering trading. I have no issues with the knife, it's superb, I'm mainly just curious to see what kind of offers I could get for it. If I see a proposal that tickles my fancy enough, I'll bite. The Manix has been used, not abused. No major cosmetic or mechanical defects (Superficial marks on clip, trivial amount of paint wear on clip screws), centered blade, vault lock-up...the works. Factory edge aside from being run on a steel rod a few times to re-align the edge, angles still perfectly intact. Pictures upon request.

Items I'd be interested in trading for:

Please note - I would very much prefer offers to include a Victorinox Soldier. This is the knife I want most right now.

-SAKs (Farmer, Harvester, Soldier, Electrician, Escort, Recruit and Classics are what I'm currently seeking here)
-Opinels (Would like some of the slightly larger handled models, but open to all sizes)
-Firesteels or other flint and steel type devices
-Traditional style slipjoints

Just making a list of possible items I could want, then seeing what's offered based on that. All offers will be considered, we'll see how things go.
 
I will buy them new. The Opinels in every size and the synthetic handled Mora's are not a problem, can buy hundreds of those today. Wood handled Mora are available but a bit harder to find.

Are you only considering out of curiosity or is the trade for real!
 
It's for real. If I see an offer that moves me, I will take it. I'd like to get a decent collection of various things I've been looking for, like some more Opinels, a wood handled Mora or two, a Machete and some junk leather. Really looking to get a Soldier or Farmer type model out of this or my other new trade thread. As for the mora's, I really have my eye on the 1260 ( http://www.ragweedforge.com/mora.jpg ). Convenient for me to do things this way. I'm going to be done posting for tonight shortly, but I'll check back with you later.
 
BTT, I like the offer Pietje but as I said I'm going to let this run a bit before I make any decisions. Thanks for the interest.

I like the deal and I'm considering the trade also. I cant find any #1260 around here. Where do you think you will need this knife for? Ist really small. Are you okay whit two #2?

What brand is the LED? Im only interested in a good one!

Can you send me or post some detail pictures of the Manix (edge also)
 
I wanted the 1260 as a fixed whittler. If you know of a good fixed blade for whittling that could substitute, or would just like to go with another #2, that'd be fine.

The LED is a smith and wesson. I don't know much about LEDs, but it seems alright to me. I'll edit this post in a little while with pictures of the manix and the LED (Don't know it's product number) if I can get ahold of a camera.

Edited, looking to trade Manix for Soldiers / Farmers and similar Alox models, as well as Opinels. Feel free to post offers in case me and Pietje decide not to trade, but as of now he has priority.
