Manix M4 invoice...more than 600 possible???

I put my name on their list about 3 weeks ago and my knife shipped today so I think it's very likely that you will get one. If not immediately, then after they receive their next shipment from Spyderco.

Thanks, mongatu, I won't worry if I have to wait. I'll just keep my fingers crossed. By the way, what is it with this forum? Everyone is way too nice. Don't you guys realize this is the Internet and you're supposed to insult and berate everyone who posts, especially new guys like me? :-)

Got on preorder list the 21st. Paid the 27th and shipped the 28th. No reason to pay a premium for this knife at this point in time. :-)

Received mine! This knife blows the para2 away! Blade is WAY off center so hopefully I can easily adjust this out. Other than that wow. Best bevel I've seen on a spyderco. Almost looks less than 30 inclusive.

Funny, I was thinking exactly the opposite after I received mine. IOWs, I greatly prefer the Para 2, (just wish I had one in M4, but the new 20CP will have to do, if I ever get one). I'm currently debating keeping my M2/M4 as a safe queen to be sold someday several years down the road. Just don't find the ergos and blade shape, and especially the lock to be as nice as those on the Para 2. Plus the M2 is just a little more heavy duty than I need most of the time. For me, the P2 strikes the right balance. The Manix 2 is a beautiful knife though, just not ideal for me.

It's definitely not as smooth looking or opening as the para2. My biggest thing with the para is that it chips if I look at it the wrong way. This Manix just reminds me of am Emerson in solidness.

Neither of the ones I got has centering issues, one of'em does have a slight wiggle when closed that isn't present on my blue, fg, and orange
