I got it on amazon under clear plastic drawers. Its actually a makeup organizer lol. It looks and works great.

Traded this one in s110v
For this one in bd1!
I have always like the color of BD1 scales.
Just would like a Non-BD1 steel blade.

For light edc tasks, and even heavier tasks I carved into some green wood to see how it would do the bd1 behaved like 440c. You could go for quite a while with regular cutting duties and still have a usable edge I cut up some carpet just now and am still slicing paper.
It takes a screaming edge fast as well! The 110v was a bit of a chore and I don't have anything in my normal cutting routines that would require s110v. I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the bd1. Most modern steels are pretty good. Elmax and s35v being my personal favs. But it doesn't mean "lesser" modern steels are bad. I've had bd 1 in a UKPK and the same result. Sharpened as easy as 8cr13mov, held an edge like good heat treated 440c. Takes a screamingly sharp fine edge when honed.
This one is still wearing the nice edge that dkb45 put on it. (he has my s110v version)
