I agree, and that one is what got me into the Manix mania in the first place. :D
 
I really dig the glow-in-the-dark-scales but I can't bring myself to buy one with that edc-tag on it especially on this side of the blade. The position to put on their stamp could not have been worse imho.

Just my 2 cents.

30 seconds with a Scotch Brite could fix that for you:)
I'm not bothered by it, FWIW.

On a new knife? I'd rather swap blades. ;) Ok, someone has to try and show if it turns out well :D


I'm guessing this won't be the last GID Spyderco design we are going to see.

I was so intrigued by the GITD concept that I would have been willing to buy it with dancing reindeer etched on the blade. :D OTOH, that is the reason I haven't bought one of the Stag Arms limited editions.
 
I have my first manix 2 on the way, black DLC coated version. I wish the orange version would become a regular production model :*(

I was going for 2 and a forgotten pre-order came through. I liked it so much, I decided to keep 'em all. :D I also didn't know Spyderco was going to do so many different runs at the time.

CTS-XHP is proving to be a great steel.

No big deal :) but I'm pretty sure the FG/XHP sprint preceded the blue/S30V by a couple of months. I already had the FG/XHP when I foolishly :D decided to pass on the blue, a mistake later rectified. ;)

No doubt you're correct. I actually bought both of mine at the same time from a seller on the exchange.

Everytime I think of the blue one, I remember calling back the vendor to tell him, "Oh no, I only want one, not two." I should have kept that 2nd one and made myself a tidy little profit. :( Dumbass!!!
